Taylor Momsen

Taylor Momsen, an American performer, songwriter and actress, is most well recognized as the leading singer and frontwoman of The Pretty Reckless, a rock group. The multi-talented singer/songwriter who entered the entertainment world at the age of just two years. She says that her youth was a wild ride that included lots of work. A gorgeous young woman born in Missouri and who grew to be a Roman Catholic but is now atheist, declares that she has no faith in any religion. Her family tree traces her descent back to Germans who were part of the earlier Russian empire. In the beginning, she was an actor in her youth but she later moved into modelling and musical productions as well. The character she played as Jennifer Humphrey as part of the "Gossip Girls" series has made her a household word and the hit debut album by her group - 'Light Me Up'--gained her fame in the music world. It's a multi-faceted artist, but she says that music is her passion. This is the reason she's stopped performing to be able to focus her efforts on music.
